Job Overview:

Compensation: Per unit/Hourly.

Transportation: Available at low cost.

Objective: To ensure a pristine, hygienic, and welcoming atmosphere for private residences or business facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies effectively.
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery as needed.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures to enhance appearance.
  • Clean metal fixtures and fittings to ensure shine.
  • Empty and sanitize trash containers regularly.
  • Dispose of waste in a hygienic manner.
  • Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers thoroughly.
  • Wipe down glass surfaces for clarity.
  • Make beds and change linens as required.
  • Tidy up rooms to create an organized space.
  • Wash windows according to the schedule.
  • Sort, wash, load, and unload laundry efficiently.
  • Iron and press clothing and linens as necessary.
  • Sort, fold, and store clean laundry appropriately.
  • Operate mechanized cleaning equipment safely.
  • Maintain all cleaning tools and supplies in a safe and sanitary condition.
  • Monitor and report necessary repairs and replacements.
  • Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators, and lounges, in addition to guest rooms.
  • Organize work schedules based on room status, arrivals, and departures.
  • Distribute linens, towels, and room supplies using carts or by hand.
  • Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing materials, and minibar items.
  • Replace soiled linens with fresh items.
  • Inspect and rotate mattresses regularly.
  • Store all dirty laundry in accordance with company policy.
  • Monitor guest laundry bags and replace as needed.
  • Check that all appliances in the rooms are functioning properly.
  • Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly.
  • Address housekeeping issues such as spills and broken items.
  • Deliver requested housekeeping items to guest rooms efficiently.
  • Remove room service items in a timely manner.
  • Organize and restock the cleaning cart at the end of the shift.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of guest accommodations.
  • Adhere to all company safety and security protocols.
  • Report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards immediately.
  • Observe and report any damage to property.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods.
  • Understanding of cleaning sensitive materials.
  • Working knowledge of cleaning equipment operation.
  • Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend.
  • Capability to lift, push, and pull loads (typically around 30 lbs).
