Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, prepare medical histories, and verify patient information.
- Medical Procedures: Perform point-of-care tests, administer medications, and assist with minor surgical procedures.
- Supply Management: Maintain inventory of medical supplies, restock exam rooms, and ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in family or pediatric medicine.
- Certifications: Current BLS certification and ability to maintain certifications per state guidelines.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Competitive Compensation: $20-$26 per hour.
