Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Manager

Willson International Limited is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing provisions of broker regulations set forth in 19 CFR 111 and various participating government agencies to ensure requirements are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage and continuously develop a team of compliance professionals providing day-to-day support of regulatory and compliance-based inquiries.
  • Oversee the filing of regulatory submissions including amendments, protests, and petitions. In priority scenarios, craft non-routine submissions to assist in mitigation or cancellation of damages.
  • Assist in formal regulatory reviews, for example, Food & Drug Administration filer evaluations.
  • Build relationships with key points of contact at U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) and participating government agencies (PGAs) to assist in timely exchange of information and response to government inquiries.
  • Manage the CTPAT (customs broker) program and portal for Willson International Limited.
  • Author or oversee the review of content for our weekly customer Newsflash.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Customs Brokers License is required.
  • Minimum two (2) years in a Regulatory environment within a Customs Brokerage environment.
  • Minimum three (3) years in a Leadership/Managerial role.
  • A working knowledge of U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) and Participating Government Agencies' (PGA) import requirements is required.
  • High School Diploma required. College or University Degree is an asset.
  • NCBFAA Certified Customs Specialist is an asset.
