**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at Compunnel. As a Pediatric Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

**Responsibilities**

  • Administer COVID-19 vaccination and flu vaccination as required, and obtain flu exemption applications in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and health promotion.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

**Requirements**

  • Two (2) years' experience as a registered nurse, with a strong background in pediatric care.
  • One (1) year of experience in pediatric CVICU, with a preference for travel experience at a children's hospital.
  • Diploma Nursing degree, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in nursing (or higher), with a preference for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges, or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law.
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association and Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
