About This Role
We are seeking a highly qualified pediatrician to join our team at MUSC Health - Orangeburg. As a Pediatric Care Specialist, you will be responsible for attending high-risk deliveries and developing a plan of care for each infant while collaborating with MUSC physicians in Charleston via Telehealth technology. You must be confident and have the experience and knowledge to make decisions about patient care while relaying key information to collaborating physicians located off-site.
Responsibilities
As a Pediatric Care Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- • Attending high-risk deliveries
• Developing a plan of care for each infant
• Collaborating with MUSC physicians in Charleston via Telehealth technology
• Making decisions about patient care
• Relaying key information to collaborating physicians
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- • Board Certification in Pediatrics (BC)
• At least 5 years of experience as a pediatrician
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
