About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Lead to join our team at Schylling. As a Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design of our products from initial concept to final production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement design strategies to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and develop new products, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and functionality.
  • Collaborate with our product development team to ensure design concepts are feasible and meet customer needs.
  • Manage and maintain design files, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Communicate effectively with our manufacturing partners to ensure design concepts are executed correctly.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform design decisions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in product design, with a focus on toy or children's products.
  • Proven track record of designing and developing successful products that meet customer needs.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, including color theory, typography, and composition.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in design software, including Sketchbook Pro, Photoshop, and 3D modeling tools.
