Community Living Support Specialist

Salary: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: SUN-TUES 10:30PM TO 9:30AM
Key Responsibilities:The following duties and responsibilities may vary based on the specific program:
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment for individuals in a community residential setting.
- Encourage and assist individuals in acquiring essential daily living skills.
- Support individuals in maintaining their personal health and hygiene.
- Administer medications as required.
- Organize and engage in recreational and leisure activities.
- Utilize approved techniques to coach and demonstrate skills to individuals.
- Contribute to the overall management of the community residential setting.
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures.
- Engage in ongoing communication regarding program planning and implementation.
- Must be at least 18 years old; 21 years old required for Personal Care Homes.
- A high school diploma is mandatory.
- Must pass and maintain Medication Certification standards.
- Possess a valid U.S. Driver's License and be insurable under company policy.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Physical capability to assist with personal care tasks, including transferring individuals for bathing and completing household tasks.
- Proficient in CPR-AED/First Aid techniques.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.
- Maintain professionalism, complete required training, and attend necessary meetings.
- Willingness to work unconventional schedules, as services are provided 24/7, 365 days a year.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Commitment to maintaining annual training hours as mandated for the position.
Potential exposure to challenging behaviors and communicable diseases may occur.
