Job Summary

VTG is seeking a skilled Requirements Analyst to join our team in Chantilly, VA. As a member of our Requirements Team, you will work with government IT applications and systems to capture and define system requirements and associated business processes. You will work with stakeholders to elicit and define requirements and translate them into system requirements for developers to implement. You will translate and document business needs, processes, and procedures into detailed user stories, process charts and workflows, or standard operating procedures. You will coordinate with developers and testers to ensure understanding of requirements and support implementation of tools and features that meet user needs. You will coordinate with team members to support the full lifecycle of requirements management to include gathering, analyzing, verifying, and validating the needs and requirements for the client system.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and write business or software requirements
• Work collaboratively with team members, government clients, and stakeholders
• Think critically, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
• Perform in a high-paced work environment with multiple competing priorities
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Poly Required
• 2-8 years related experience
• Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC)
• Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make progress in areas where high ambiguity and uncertainty exists
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Process and Agile development
• Experience with Microsoft Visio
• Experience with Agile tools, including Jira
• Experience with writing requirements as features or user stories
• Experience with business process improvement
• Experience working and collaborating with technical staff and engineers
• Experience with systems engineering or software development
