RDR is seeking a skilled Financial Policy Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The Financial Policy Specialist will be responsible for researching and coordinating policy updates as needed by senior management. This includes conducting formal coordination phases of directives, instructions, notes, and procedural papers involving financial management and oversight. The Specialist will also track and facilitate the revision process of various policies, provide technical support to ensure the Government is aware of changing audit requirements and updates to financial policies and procedures, and research and document emerging policy requirements monthly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and coordinate policy updates as needed
• Conduct formal coordination phases of directives, instructions, notes, and procedural papers involving financial management and oversight
• Track and facilitate the revision process of various policies
• Provide technical support to ensure the Government is aware of changing audit requirements and updates to financial policies and procedures
• Research and document emerging policy requirements monthly
• Perform gap analysis of existing financial policies and develop and implement required policy updates to address material weaknesses and other policy-related control deficiencies
• Address policy-related inquiries from BPO/Finance and NRO customers and respond to questions received via email or telephone
• Assist with annual review and updates of BPO/Finance standard operating procedures
• Perform FIN/Policy website clean-up, maintenance, and improvements, with a focus on customer utilization
• Assist with monitoring and coordinating BPO/FIN Tracking Information and Enterprise Response (TIER) actions
• Provide general Policy support, including assisting with Brown Bags and reviewing and tracking posted Inspector General Reports for financial implications and corrective action development

Requirements:

This position requires a High school diploma plus (4) years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 0 years of experience. Security clearance is also required.

Benefits:
