Job Title: Public Health Education Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Public Health Education Coordinator to join our team at HealthCorps. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing our innovative wellness program, Teens Make Health Happen, in middle and high schools in the Oklahoma City area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with teen wellness leaders, site partners, and regional program managers to ensure effective delivery of HealthCorps' programming.
  • Assess the health needs of the schools we serve and measure our impact through regular reporting and tracking.
  • Manage and implement the Teens Make Health Happen program, including planning and executing wellness activities, events, and workshops.
  • Share program highlights and success stories through social media and other communication channels.
  • Represent HealthCorps and embody our values in all interactions with students, staff, and community members.

Requirements:

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student majoring in public health, public policy, biology, nutrition, marketing, psychology, education, or a related field.
  • Good academic standing with the university.
  • Commitment of 6-8+ hours per week for 1-2 semesters.
  • Strong desire to grow personally and professionally as a leader in the community and as a speaker on health-related topics.
