Job Description
The Assistant Store Manager - CALVIN KLEIN will be responsible for leading the effort to exceed sales expectations, providing exceptional customer service, and displaying passion for our brand.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the team to deliver top-line sales results, exceeding customer expectations, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products, promotions, and brand standards to effectively communicate value and build brand loyalty.
- Partner with the Store Manager to make decisions that support brand standards, customer service expectations, and connect store goals to larger business objectives.
- Prioritize delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the store, resolving customer concerns, and exceeding their expectations.
Efficiency and Team Management:
- Lead merchandising execution, filling in based on sell-through, and collaborating with the Store Manager on new arrival merchandising decisions.
- Enforce all company tools, policies, and procedures, providing loss prevention training and coaching associates to maintain awareness and report concerns.
- Create and maintain schedules to support payroll strategies and budgets, assisting in the oversight of expenses and inventory.
- Assist with business analysis and planning, conveying opportunities and customer feedback to the Store Manager.
Associate Morale and Development:
- Recruit and onboard top talent to ensure a best-in-class team, evaluating current talent and providing observations to the Store Manager.
- Motivate and inspire associates to achieve sales goals, upholding brand standards, modeling expectations, recognizing outstanding performance, and assisting in coaching and development.
- Demonstrate pride, commitment, and passion for the brand and customers, treating them professionally, courteously, and respectfully.
- Celebrate individuality, inclusion, and partnership, building relationships and seeking out feedback for continuous self-development.
- Champion innovation and change, supporting company initiatives, and reinforcing a continuous improvement environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of retail store management experience required.
- Bachelor's/Associate degree preferred; high school diploma/equivalent required.
- Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, and overnight shifts; some travel may be requested.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, and squat for prolonged periods, and carry up to 20 pounds.
