Job Summary

As a key member of our clinical team, the Medical Assistant Float will provide exceptional support to our healthcare providers and patients. This role requires a highly organized and adaptable individual who can navigate multiple clinic locations throughout the county.

The ideal candidate will possess a Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 1 year of primary care/managed care experience. Bilingual skills in English/Spanish are a plus but not required.

The Medical Assistant Float will be responsible for greeting patients, directing them to the appropriate locations, and providing general information about the office. They will also assist with preparing and processing referral paperwork, scheduling patients for exams and procedures, and performing vital signs and vision tests.

Additional responsibilities include assisting health service providers with treatments and examinations, processing patient referrals, and maintaining medical supply inventory. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
