Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our medical trauma team at Versa Recruiting, LLC.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Job Description

As a registered nurse in the medical trauma unit, you will provide high-quality patient care for individuals being treated for cardiac, respiratory, renal, and other conditions. You will be responsible for assessing acute changes in patients, monitoring vital signs, and administering prescribed medications.

Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will utilize your skills and expertise to ensure seamless care delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing therapeutic care to patients with complex medical needs
  • Monitoring and analyzing heart rhythms, interpreting ECGs, and intervening in emergency situations
  • Administering medications and monitoring vital signs in accordance with established policies and protocols
  • Communicating patient conditions to healthcare teams using electronic documentation systems
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License
  • 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting (acute care experience is not required, but considered advantageous)
