We are seeking a highly-skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our Central Resource Float Pool (CRP) team at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

About the Role:

As a CRP Registered Nurse, you will deliver exceptional patient-centered nursing care to patients within your scope of practice and based on your nursing competencies. You will float to various units across the facility, including critical care, intensive care, medical, surgical, telemetry, step down, neuroscience, cardiac, trauma, orthopedic, oncology, post anesthesia care, short stay, and the emergency department.

  • You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team of nurses, providers, and patient care staff on each unit to implement a care plan that meets each patient's needs.
  • You will monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate using computerized documentation systems.
About the Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • A current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or a Current Multistate Compact License.
  • No less than 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
