Advance Auto Parts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Control Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 50+ team members to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.
  • Conduct daily start-up meetings with team managers to discuss department goals, directives, and work assignments.
  • Ensure that inventory is received and processed in a timely and safe manner by following established procedures.
  • Manage the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Red Prairie (RP) to ensure accurate and timely movement of product.
  • Meet with operations manager and team manager to discuss and review work methods, procedures, and controls.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of prior leadership experience in a warehouse-related field.
  • Previous work experience in a warehouse or distribution center, including material handling, inventory tracking, and providing work direction to other teammates.
  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Bi-lingual skills preferred, but not required.
