Patient Service Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Patient Service Specialist to join our team at Advanced Radiology Consultants. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced radiology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with a smile, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Communicate effectively with referring physicians, patients, and other staff members to provide information, schedule appointments, and address concerns.
- Complete patient admission process accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date.
- Explain exam preps to patients, resolving any questions or concerns they may have.
- Process patient copays, following established protocols.
- Assist technologists, patient care assistants, physicians, and other ARC staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of outside reads, communicating results on time.
- Prepare radiologic rooms and assist patients on and off exam tables.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Graduate of Medical Office Assistant Program preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Benefits:
