Job Overview

At DARCARS Automotive Group, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, heating and cooling, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems to specification, utilizing technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Provide accurate labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with other technicians and ASMs to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical information and techniques through formal training sessions.
  • Inspect and test new vehicles to identify necessary repairs.
  • Assist other technicians in diagnosis and repair.

Requirements:

  • ASE Certification in 1 or more categories or equivalent mechanical skill and leadership experience.
  • Ability to diagnose the majority of customer concerns.
  • Completion of instructor-led training and online courses.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
