We are seeking an experienced Institutional Fixed Income Trader to join our team at Protective Life. As a key member of our business, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Correspond with dealers, salespeople, institutional accounts, and retail accounts to support business growth.
- Operate multiple on-line trading platforms to execute trades and manage client relationships.
- Cover accounts in a production type role on an "account by account" basis, with prior approval from the Managing Director.
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 license, required.
- 5+ years' experience in Financial Services with Municipals, Agencies, and Mortgage-Backed Securities, required.
- Experience with on-line trading platforms.
- Bachelor degree, preferred.
We offer a competitive salary range of $74,000 to $115,000, as well as additional incentive opportunities through our sales incentive plan (SIP). Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, mental health benefits, employee assistance program, paid time off, paid parental leave, short-term disability, and a cultural observance day. We also offer contributions to healthcare accounts, a pension plan, and a 401(k) plan with Company matching.
