Role Summary:

As a Part-Time Insurance Customer Service Associate, you will serve as the initial point of contact for our clients and visitors. Your contribution is vital in maintaining the smooth operation of our office. You will engage in various administrative responsibilities, manage phone inquiries, coordinate appointments, and provide outstanding customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome clients and visitors with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate team members
  • Process simple endorsements for clients
  • Accept and manage customer payments
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments
  • Organize and maintain office files and documentation
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry and mail management
  • Keep the reception area tidy and organized
  • Provide assistance and information to clients regarding their inquiries
  • Support the team with additional tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Property and Casualty license preferred
  • Prior experience with Allstate is a plus
  • Experience in a receptionist or administrative role is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional demeanor and positive outlook
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time position
  • Flexible hours, typically Monday to Friday
