Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse

Kadiak, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Nurse to support our team in Arlington, VA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the health and well-being of our employees.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Health Nurse will provide evaluation and treatment of ill and injured employees, administer and interpret medical tests, and perform various clinical and administrative duties as assigned by the physician. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evaluation and treatment of ill and injured employees
  • Administer and interpret medical tests, including Mantoux tuberculin skin tests, ECGs, and vision exams
  • Perform audiology and pulmonary function spirometry testing
  • Manage and maintain medical, OSHA, and other documentation in print and electronic format
  • Provide counseling and education to employees on health and wellness issues
  • Assist in the development and implementation of health promotion programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the physician or Clinical Supervisor
Requirements:
  • Active, current, unrestricted License as a RN in the jurisdiction of delivery of care
  • At least two (2) years of previous clinical experience as an RN
  • Completed Registered Nurse (RN) training from a university, college, school, or nursing program that is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), National Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)
  • Valid state driver's license
Working Environment:

This role operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time.
