Occupational Therapist

LHC Group is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in North Arlington, New Jersey. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patient functional status and occupational therapy needs, developing personalized treatment plans to address these needs.
- Provide evidence-based interventions to improve patient well-being, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct home assessments and adaptive equipment evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Document patient progress and outcomes, submitting progress notes and reports as required.
- Participate in staff conferences and committees to share knowledge and best practices.
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in New Jersey.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle.
- At least 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices.
