About the Role

At Traffic Planning and Design, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Highway Infrastructure Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of transportation planning and design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination of projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Design and Planning: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for highway infrastructure projects, including intersection design, traffic signal design, and pavement marking plans.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project goals are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Report Preparation and Analysis: Assist in the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, and designs for projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Site Monitoring and Quality Control: Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contract documents and specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required)
  • Professional Certifications: EIT, FE (not required, but preferred)
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CADD Software (MicroStation or AutoCAD or OpenRoad), Microsoft Office Suite, and valid driver's license.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
