About the Role:
This is a full-time exempt position that offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development. As a Membership Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting and retaining girl scouts and volunteers in your assigned area. You will design and implement a comprehensive plan to reach and maintain the market share goal for membership, research school population statistics and market data, and implement recruiting and retention strategies outlined in our strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment plan to meet membership goals
- Research and analyze market data to inform recruitment strategies
- Build relationships with area businesses, schools, and community stakeholders to increase awareness and participation
- Support the delivery of the troop experience in assigned areas and maintain troop information and leader lists
- Establish and grow relationships with area Service Units and follow up on new leads and referrals
- Collaborate with Program and Fund Development Departments to drive volunteer participation growth
- Lead annual membership renewal campaign and provide volunteer leader onboarding and support
- Manage and track information, interactions, and actions with volunteers using Salesforce
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and knowledge of effective customer service principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems
- Believes in and supports the mission of the Girl Scouts and is willing to become a registered Girl Scout member
- Valid transportation and current, valid driver's license and minimum state auto insurance requirements
- Able to pass a criminal background check and provide two professional references
Working Conditions:
This is a field-based position with daily travel, non-traditional work hours, and occasional overnight travel. You will work independently and as part of a cross-functional team to drive growth and development in your assigned area.
