Job Title: Registered Nurse Manager - Endoscopy

United Digestive is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to join our team at the Panola Endoscopy Center in Lithonia, GA.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Manager will be responsible for the routine functioning of the Endoscopy Center, working collaboratively with the Director of Endoscopy and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge
  • Collaborate with the Director of Endoscopy to achieve patient outcomes and facility mission
  • Provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients within the endoscopy center
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care given to patients
  • Assess the need for nursing care based on the schedule and develop a staffing pattern to promote nursing care commensurate with these needs
  • Determine needs of staff, develop/adjust time schedule, and ensure appropriate assignments in accordance with staff abilities, patient needs, and scheduling needs
  • Define nursing care needs in complex situations and identify nursing interventions to meet those needs
  • Document on all forms as required and administer medication as directed by the physician under the guidelines of the State Board of Nursing
  • Communicate/interpret both standards and policies to staff, hold them accountable for maintaining current knowledge of policies and procedures, and facilitate quality improvement in the delivery of care
  • Maintain open positive communication with nursing personnel and other health professionals, conduct documented staff meetings and in-services, and assume responsibility for performance management
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in surgical services and/or GI endoscopy, with a minimum of 2 years of management experience. Good clinical assessment skills, flexibility, and basic computer skills are necessary. Moderate periods of sitting and computer use are required, with good visual acuity.
