About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home-Based Residential Treatment Support Professional to join our team at Addictions Recovery Center Inc.

Job Summary:

The Home-Based Residential Treatment Support Professional will operate within a residential treatment environment, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of service providers. This role involves providing and monitoring treatment support for up to 28 residential clients, directing daily activities and chores with a sensitive and trauma-informed approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with residential client admissions and discharges as requested.
  2. Monitor and ensure client participation in daily activities.
  3. Answer phones and provide office support.
  4. Intervene in client disputes and address inappropriate behavior.
  5. Take and record vital signs.
  6. Assist clients with medications and performing UA's.
  7. Ensure clients receive their self-administered medications accurately.
  8. Accurately update and document in the Medication Administration Record Sheets (MARS).
  9. Report errors and grievances according to proper procedures and protocols.
  10. Maintain cleanliness of unit rooms and facilities.
  11. Handle unit laundry and empty trash/recycling as needed.
  12. Maintain high visibility and promote positive responses to change.
  13. Socialize with and encourage clients.
  14. Assist with meal service and cleanup.
  15. Complete required notes and documentation, including input and management of collected data.
  16. Maintain daily treatment protocols and procedures.
  17. Document client interactions and activities accurately in client records.
  18. Assist clients in connecting with Peer Support Specialists.

Team Collaboration:

The Home-Based Residential Treatment Support Professional will work closely with other unit staff as part of the treatment team, collaborating on client care and program development. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborate closely with other unit staff as part of the treatment team.
  2. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure cohesive and coordinated care.
  3. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment plans.
  4. Collaborate with Residential Leadership to develop and implement program improvements.
  5. Support Residential Counselors and Peer Support Specialists in their roles.
  6. Work alongside the Residential Medical Specialist(s) to ensure client medical needs are met.
  7. Coordinate with the Compliance team to uphold treatment standards.
  8. Collaborate with Outpatient Leadership to facilitate client transitions between residential and outpatient care.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
