Position Overview:
The Sports Visual Storyteller plays a crucial role in crafting captivating visual narratives for the university's athletics programs. This position involves producing high-quality imagery for the university's athletics website, social media platforms, printed materials, and promotional content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate engaging multimedia content through photography.
  • Document athletic events and special occasions.
  • Review and enhance photographs to ensure quality.
  • Collaborate with the athletics media team to bolster social media presence and visual branding.
  • Deliver images promptly for various media requests.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively while maintaining a positive demeanor under pressure.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills.
  • Foster an inclusive environment in all interactions and creative decisions.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in photography, film studies, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficient in photographic techniques and lighting.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of high-quality images.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in client relations.
  • Experience in fast-paced photography settings.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform essential functions, which may include prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting. Frequent use of hands for photography tasks and occasional lifting of equipment up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment:
