About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Brantley County Family and Consumer Sciences Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering research-based educational programs to families and youth in Brantley County.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs focused on family wellness, nutrition, and consumer skills.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to identify community needs and develop targeted programs.
  • Provide leadership and support to 4-H youth programs, promoting healthy lifestyles and life skills.
  • Conduct research and gather data to inform program development and evaluation.
  • Build partnerships with local organizations and businesses to enhance program impact.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as family and consumer sciences, agriculture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
