Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance, guidance, and policy/procedural interpretation to assist subordinates in monitoring complex manufacturing processes.
- Manage the activities of Technical Group employees through subordinate supervisors assigned to functionally aligned teams.
- Conduct a continuing assessment of the business and technical aspects of the performance of the contract administration functions listed in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Security Requirements: Non-Critical Sensitive with Secret Access.
- Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination.
- Qualifications: To qualify for a Supervisory Industrial Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support 4 years of acquisition experience and one year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position.
- Planning, directing, advising, managing, and integrating the workload of a diverse group of employees responsible for monitoring complex processes involving Major Defense Acquisitions Programs (ACAT 1) and Major Weapons Systems.
- Providing oversight to acquisition personnel performing activities such as aircraft engineering, program management, earned value management, software, and manufacturing and production contract surveillance.
- Accomplishing the timely delivery of systems, subsystems, and components to major Government buying commands with minimal impact to making decisions that impact cost, schedule, and performance standards.
