Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our retail sales team at Schnitzer Steel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer care and promoting sales and service to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide best-in-class customer care and promote sales and service to customers
  • Work as part of a retail sales team to achieve sales goals and maintain excellent standards of all Pick-n-Pull policies and procedures
  • Offer friendly and enthusiastic answers to customer questions and provide required information to customers as they enter the store
  • Follow loss prevention, risk control, quality assurance, and proper cash handling procedures at all times
  • Participate in continuous training and education in all areas of the Pick-n-Pull business
Requirements
  • Must have good people skills with an outgoing friendly positive attitude
  • Able to work retail hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have reliable means of transportation
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak in the English language
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required
Working Conditions

Exposure on a regular basis to outdoor weather conditions and occasional noisy conditions and machinery operation.
