Job Title: Building Maintenance Supervisor

Join the University of Pennsylvania team as a Building Maintenance Supervisor and play a vital role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our students, faculty, and staff. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our buildings, ensuring that all facilities are clean, well-maintained, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff to ensure that all facilities are properly maintained and repaired.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all facilities are properly maintained and repaired.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance or repair issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all facilities are properly maintained and repaired.
  • Develop and implement procedures for emergency maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
