  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, and provide technical guidance and hands-on support to the team.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products and services, and collaborate with external partners, vendors, and academic institutions to advance AI capabilities.
  • Drive the research and development of new AI models and algorithms, and ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of AI solutions.
  • Oversee the collection, preprocessing, and analysis of large datasets, and ensure data quality, integrity, and security in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Implement robust metrics and monitoring systems to assess the performance and impact of AI solutions, and continuously evaluate and optimize AI models and processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Current or recent experience as an assistant professor in a university setting is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and Java.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Experience in leading a diverse team of professionals, and published research in reputable AI journals or conferences.
  • Active participation in AI and data science communities.
