Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Assembler to join our team at Kratos Defense. As an Electronic Assembler, you will be responsible for performing basic and routine electronic and mechanical assembly operations on components, printed circuit boards, and subassemblies in accordance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position and align parts in specified relationships to each other and use hand or power tools to secure parts
  • Mount assembled components on panels or circuit boards
  • Route wiring and cabling through assembly to terminals according to color codes and solder or wrap wire around terminals to provide electrical connection
  • Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, cleaning, coating, epoxy bonding, wiring, stamping, and color coding parts and assemblies
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions
Requirements
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards
  • Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary
  • Ability to adhere to workplace rules
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and component identifications
  • Ability to work with minute parts and demonstrate finger dexterity
  • Ability to form and bend wires to specifications
  • Ability to work with stripping tools, wire cutters, soldering equipment, degreasers, and other tools of the trade
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a production environment and be able to stand and sit for long periods of time. They will also be able to perform repetitive motion and lift up to 30 pounds.
