Additionally, we require a dependable Bus/Van Driver who is committed to the safe transportation of children, reflecting our core values of love and support.
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- ServSafe Manager Certification
- Minimum of 2 years in food preparation or culinary roles
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children
- Understanding of children's physical, emotional, and developmental needs
- Ability to address individual and group needs of children
Cook Responsibilities:
- Prepare the kitchen and workstation with necessary ingredients, cooking tools, and sanitation supplies.
- Adhere to the menu as specified by Magic Memories and Food Program regulations, preparing meals and snacks using only approved ingredients.
- Maintain accurate food inventories and assess food quality, ensuring proper storage according to Health Department guidelines.
- Oversee mealtime activities, teaching children about manners, cleanliness, and appropriate table etiquette through direct interaction.
Van Driver Responsibilities:
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the children during transportation.
- Safely transport children to and from designated locations.
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Familiarize yourself with the planned route prior to travel.
- Maintain a clean driving record for the past five years.
- Ensure the vehicle meets all state regulatory requirements.
