Restaurant Operations Manager

Union Square Cafe is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving service excellence and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Cultivate a culture of exceptional hospitality, ensuring a seamless guest experience and a high-performing team.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining room, ensuring all staff is properly trained and equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with kitchen leaders and line staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout service periods.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to service staff, actively participating in the cycle of service as needed.
- Work closely with beverage management to conduct, reconcile, and submit monthly beverage inventory.
- Ensure compliance with HR practices and policies, holding employees accountable to standards and practices, and evaluating/disciplinary procedures as necessary.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to business/accounting procedures.
- Ensure DOL/Health Department compliance, providing feedback and guidance to team members on excellence and hospitality.
- Identify opportunities for internal and external growth, building a strong and diverse team.
- 2+ years of experience in fine dining and hospitality, with management experience preferred.
- Excellent food and beverage knowledge, with a passion for education and development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree or Certification in Hospitality-related field or equivalent expertise gained from time on the job.
- English fluency and Spanish preferred.
- Annual salary of $70,000, plus bonus potential.
