3. Innovate and implement effective solutions to enhance process capabilities.
4. Conduct thorough analyses of testing results against established customer specifications.
5. Gather, document, and analyze operational data, presenting findings in comprehensive reports.
6. Develop and execute systems that streamline all stages of the production process.
7. Collaborate with equipment designers and operational teams to create cost-efficient production methodologies.
8. Ensure timely project completion while adhering to financial constraints.
9. Research and procure advanced manufacturing technologies.
10. Maintain an up-to-date database of operational standards and benchmarks.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, complemented by a solid mathematical foundation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to accuracy under pressure.
- Lean Six Sigma experience (Black Belt or Green Belt) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, Spinfire).
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The role requires the ability to work autonomously and to guide, mentor, and evaluate team members effectively.
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (5+ years) in:
- Manufacturing Operations
- Lean Manufacturing
- Quality Systems in Automotive
- Professional certifications such as ASQ-CQE, CQA, or CQM are advantageous.
Working Conditions:
This position may involve medium to heavy physical demands, including the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally. The work environment may expose you to typical office conditions as well as plant conditions, including occasional loud noises and varying temperatures.
