Position Overview: Foundations is seeking a certified Special Education Instructor for preschool-aged children, specifically in the realm of Early Education/Early Ed. Endorsement. This role is essential for fostering a supportive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a tailored curriculum that addresses the unique needs, interests, and abilities of each student.
  • Create an engaging classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Guide the educational process to achieve curriculum objectives and set clear goals for lessons and projects.
  • Utilize appropriate instructional methods and materials to meet educational objectives.
  • Regularly assess student learning and provide necessary progress reports.
  • Identify learning disabilities and collaborate with district specialists as needed.
  • Engage in regular communication with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • Support the administration in enforcing policies and rules governing student behavior and maintain a fair classroom environment.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities as required.

  • Deliver accurate and timely work products.
  • Exhibit a positive team attitude and take initiative in unassigned tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current Arizona Teaching Certificate.
  • Valid Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance card.
  • Special Education Certification with a focus on Early Childhood.
Work Environment:
  • Occasional exposure to environmental factors such as dust and pollen.
  • Physical demands include frequent movement, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining visual and auditory acuity.
  • Classroom noise levels may vary from moderate to high.
