Role Purpose: The primary responsibility of this position is to facilitate learning experiences that promote cognitive and social development in young children, guiding them to become responsible and capable individuals.
Classification: Foundations Educational Solutions
Employment Status: Exempt
Compensation: $64,000-$70,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized educational programs tailored to the unique needs and interests of each student.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Direct the educational process to achieve curriculum objectives, establishing clear goals for lessons and projects.
- Utilize appropriate instructional strategies and resources to meet educational objectives.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide feedback as necessary.
- Identify and address learning challenges, collaborating with specialists as needed.
- Maintain open communication with colleagues, students, and families.
- Support the administration in enforcing school policies and maintaining a respectful classroom environment.
- Participate in extracurricular activities as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Current and valid Arizona Teaching Certificate
- Valid Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance card
- Certification in Special Education/Early Childhood
Work Environment:
- Occasional exposure to allergens and environmental factors
- Requires physical activity including reaching, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must possess normal vision and hearing capabilities, with or without correction.
- Classroom noise levels may vary from moderate to high.
