Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at Northwest Community Hospital (NCH). As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, instructing them on the examination process and positioning them according to protocol.
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images, ensuring that radiologists receive the best possible diagnostic information.
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as required, following infection control and universal precautions guidelines.
  • Communicate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hospital standards and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification in CT and current registration.
  • Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency license.
  • Knowledge of body mechanics and ability to lift and move patients as needed.
  • CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
