Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH). As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining procedures and positioning them correctly.
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Communicate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hospital standards.
  • Supervise students and assist in training and evaluation.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification in CT and current registration.
  • Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency license.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics.
  • CPR certification through American Heart Association.
