Job Overview:
The role involves providing strategic leadership and management across all facets of clinic operations for West Tennessee Healthcare - Pulmonology Clinic, excluding those requiring professional medical judgment. This position reports directly to the Director of Specialty Care Services and indirectly to the Medical Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards governing healthcare delivery and accreditation requirements.
- Continuously assess operations, programs, and facilities, recommending necessary modifications.
- Collaborate with the Director of Specialty Care Services to implement long-term operational strategies for the clinic.
- Keep management updated on trends, challenges, and activities affecting clinic operations or policies.
- Work alongside the Director of Specialty Care Services and relevant personnel from other departments to propose or establish new policies, ensuring resource availability and support.
- Lead and oversee clinic activities through regular meetings with clinical and support staff to gather input, discuss opportunities, and present updates.
- Maintain professional relationships and pursue ongoing professional development to stay informed about trends in clinic management, including patient flow, revenue cycle, and staff training.
- Address medical and administrative challenges while fostering open communication to maintain high employee morale within the clinic.
- Coordinate with the Director of Specialty Care Services to effectively recruit, develop, evaluate, and retain high-quality medical and support staff.
- Utilize excellent customer service skills at all times and manage patient complaints in accordance with current departmental policies.
- Monitor staff adherence to service excellence skills and provide feedback as necessary.
- Participate in the clinic's budget planning and oversee its implementation.
- Perform related duties as required or directed.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.

- A minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
