Amergis Staffing is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for the school year in the San Marcos, CA area.

Monday - Friday

Hours/Week: 37.5 hours

Job Description:
Amergis Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with communication disorders and be able to develop and implement treatment plans to meet individual student needs.

Responsibilities:

Assess students' communication skills for the purpose of identifying communication disorders and developing recommendations for treatment

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide services and support to students

Develop and implement treatment plans to meet individual student needs

Provide speech and language therapy to students to minimize the adverse impact of speech and language disorders on student success

Requirements:

Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract

Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site

Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
