About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate pediatric occupational therapist to join our team at North Star Speech and Language Pathology Center, Inc. As a neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapist, you will work closely with our team of six speech-language pathologists to provide comprehensive therapy services to children with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services to children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism, cerebral palsy, and developmental coordination disorder.

Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to support motor, vision, and sensory skills to complement communication therapy.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote functional skills and independence in daily living activities.

Work closely with caregivers and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.

Requirements

CA occupational therapy license.

Ability to drive to clients' homes for in-home appointments in your own vehicle.

Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 unless you have a verified medical reason that prevents you from getting vaccinated.
