University of Miami is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Radiology team in Coral Gables, Florida.
Job Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients, documenting nursing care and reporting symptoms and changes in patients' condition and vital signs.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses, conditions, and physician orders.
- Review, evaluate, and report diagnostic tests to assess patient's condition.
- Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Prepare patients for and assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments, considering patient age and culture.
- Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support and performing appropriate patient tests and safely administering medications within the scope of practice.
- Administer and maintain accurate records related to medications and treatments as per regulatory bodies, policies, procedures, and physician orders.
- Communicate plan of care in a timely manner to patient and family, as well as the appropriate team members, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
- Bachelor of Science in nursing.
- Registered Nurse License; Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing care methods and procedures, and health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Excellent patient experience skills, ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems, and ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
