We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at DLP Services. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who takes pride in their work and has a passion for maintaining a clean and safe environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks on a daily basis, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, and restocking supplies. They will also be required to clean and disinfect drinking fountains, wash windows, and ensure that restrooms are clean and disinfected.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including floors, walls, and surfaces
  • Sweep, mop, and dust all areas, including offices, corridors, and public spaces
  • Empty trash and recyclables from bins and containers
  • Restock supplies, including toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
  • Clean and disinfect drinking fountains and water coolers
  • Wash windows and sills (door glass)
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift 55 pounds to shoulder height occasionally
  • Ability to push/pull a minimum of 20 pounds frequently
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective grooming skills
  • Able to operate email and computer
  • Download and operate app for clock-in/clock-out procedures
