Job Description

This is a travel nursing opportunity that offers a unique chance to provide specialized care to residents in long-term care settings. As a Long Term Care RN, you will be responsible for managing chronic conditions, promoting quality of life, and ensuring the overall well-being of elderly or chronically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health status, including physical examinations, medication histories, and psychosocial needs.
  • Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, addressing residents' medical, social, and emotional needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to medication schedules and dosage instructions.
  • Monitor residents for medication side effects, therapeutic responses, and changes in health status, reporting findings to healthcare providers.
  • Provide wound care, including assessment, cleaning, dressing changes, and monitoring wound healing progress.
  • Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory diseases through ongoing assessment, education, and coordination of care.
Salary and Benefits

The pay package for this position includes a tax-free stipend amount, which will be determined based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week. The estimated salary for this opportunity is $120,000 per year, taking into account the location and industry standards.
