We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Surgical Support Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Sebring Wauchula Lake Placid. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Transport patients to and from surgery, PACU, pre-op holding, and nursing units in a safe and timely manner.
- Assist with cleaning and turnover of operating rooms, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Ensure that lounge and dressing rooms are stocked with supplies and maintained in a neat and clean condition.
- Assist with the orientation of new employees and provide support to the surgical team as needed.
- Assume call responsibilities to meet department needs.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer knowledge.
