Position Overview
As a BMS Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects related to Building Management and Energy Management systems from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, organizing, and managing all project aspects
- Developing project timelines and ensuring compliance
- Coordinating with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors for seamless execution
- Monitoring project progress and implementing necessary adjustments
- Managing budgets and tracking expenditures
- Reviewing and negotiating vendor contracts
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure safety and quality standards
- Communicating updates to stakeholders and addressing any arising issues
- Utilizing construction management software for documentation and tracking
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in Mechanical Construction, BMS, or EMS projects
- Familiarity with platforms such as Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, or Automated Logic is advantageous
- Proficiency in project scheduling software
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
- The capability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
