Staff Pharmacist - Retail

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team at our retail pharmacy in Moab, UT. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and timely medication dispensing and counseling to patients
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels
  • Collaborate with suppliers and wholesalers to order medications and maintain accurate transaction records
  • Understand and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, including the 340B program
  • Conduct regular medication reviews, including drug-drug interaction checks, and provide personalized consultations to patients
  • Administer immunizations under defined protocols and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the State of Utah
  • Licensure to dispense controlled substances in the State of Utah
  • Excellent communication, human relation, and computer skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three years or more experience in a retail pharmacy setting
  • PhA Immunization Certification
  • Prior pharmacy management experience
