Key Responsibilities:

The Financial Operations Manager will oversee the monthly closing procedures, financial reporting, and audit functions for the North American Dealer Channel.

This role involves managing the financial accounting team, collaborating with the corporate finance group, reviewing financial reports, handling audit inquiries, and conducting variance analysis to meet the requirements of essential business stakeholders.


Core Job Functions:
Manage the month-end closing activities, which include: Timely posting, documentation, and review of journal entries
Ensuring thorough completion and review of all account reconciliations
Assisting in additional reporting as required by the Corporate & Dealer Channel Teams
Confirming timely reconciliation of intercompany balances
Working closely with key operational staff across the organization
Preparation and distribution of monthly management reports and financial statements
Ensuring compliance with all necessary accruals in line with company policies and US GAAP
Overseeing the reconciliation of banking transactions

Support the forecasting and annual budgeting process
Assist the controllership team at the manufacturing site
Ensure adherence to standardized Dealer Channel and Corporate accounting policies and procedures while supporting the audit process
Lead the Division Accounting Team and the Credit & Collections Team
Contribute to special projects as assigned by the Controllership and Financial Planning & Analysis Teams

Qualifications:


A Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Accounting from an accredited institution and a minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing setting.

Demonstrated capability to lead a team in a performance-driven environment
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
Experience with large ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and the ability to convey complex accounting concepts to both management and non-accounting personnel
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and serve as a liaison with cost center managers throughout the North American Dealer Channel
Adaptability in fast-paced work environments
Familiarity with SAP S4Hana, Blackline, and HFM is advantageous
