We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Bartender to join our team at The Exchange, a stylish whiskey and craft cocktail bar in the heart of Indianapolis. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, including soft drinks, alcoholic cocktails, and wine, to our discerning guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve beverages according to The Exchange's specifications, recipes, and procedures.
  • Assist with curating the whiskey and spirits list.
  • Set up the bar and complete all opening duties, including cleaning, stocking, and achieving par levels.
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar guests.
  • Greet all bar guests immediately and make beverage suggestions.
  • Take, record, and ring all food and beverage items ordered by bar guests.
  • Observe bar guests to ensure they are satisfied with food, beverages, and service.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current valid permit to serve alcohol as required by the State.
  • Prior restaurant hospitality experience.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, and wine.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
